On October 23, the 2012 MBA Career Mentor Appointment Ceremony was successfully held at the College of Business (COB), SUFE. This is the first group appointment ceremony since the career mentor program was launched. Professor Sun Zheng, Vice President of SUFE and Dean of COB, department directors of COB, the ten career mentors, and the 2012 full-time MBA students attended the ceremony.
“The University can be called as excellent because its students and alumni are eminent”, said Professor Sun. COB has been endeavored to explore the modern business talent training model. The career mentors will provide our students with highly matched, one-to-one advices on their career development. It has been proved by practice to be a rather effective and mature model, and is also a success with innovation value.
The MBA career mentors are all required to have more than 10 years’ work experience, of which there should be more than 5 years’ management experience. They should be currently serving at the top or middle management positions in enterprises or have background as senior HR consultants. Each of the mentors will guide 2 to 4 MBA students, offering them tailor-made guidance based on their specific situations, helping them to improve their career planning and establishing a correct career development value.
