From November 21st to 23rd, 2012, the 2012 AMBA Asia-Pacific Conference for Deans and Directors was successfully held in Queensland University of Technology in Australia. Deans and MBA program directors from 12 countries and regions, as well as representatives from many well known enterprises, such as the Boeing, Accenture, and educational service agencies like ETS and GMAC attended the conference to discuss the sustainable future of management education. Professor Zheng Sun, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), Professor Yuding Luo, Associate Dean of College of Business (COB), and Ms. Liping Xue, Assistant Dean of COB attended the conference.
During the conference, Professor Sun received the AMBA accreditation certificate awarded by Professor Chris Russell, Chairman of AMBA International Administration Committee, and Professor Luo made a speech on “Sustainability: SUFE’s Green MBA Practice.” They further had information exchanges and in-depth discussion with deans and directors from the other reputable business schools on educational reform, mutual communication and possible cooperation.
AMBA (Association of MBAs), established in 1967, is one of the three most authoritative international accreditation systems on business education. COB, SUFE successfully passed the on-site assessment and was awarded a full-term accreditation of five years.
