On March 15, the CBD Business Elite Salon was successfully held at New World Shanghai Hotel at Zhongshan Park Business District. Ms. Zhang Qin, First Vice President of the Human Resources Department of United Overseas Bank in Singapore and an alumna of SUFE, shared her experience with guests and delivered a wonderful speech entitled “God Helps Those Who Help Themselves”.
In her speech, Ms. Zhang talked about the key factors of a career, such as, career development, choices and aspirations against the background of her personal experience. Ms. Zhang’s rich work experience, her unconventional path of career, broad cross-industrial knowledge, and unique individual wisdom captured the hearts of the attending white-collars. Despite the ending of the lecture, many of them still felt reluctant to leave and continued their interactions with Ms. Zhang.
In the end, director of the Project Development Center of the College of Business of SUFE, Mr. Gao Minghui, offered Guest Mentor Appointment Letter to Ms. Zhang Qin, and expressed thanks to her for her support for the Business Elite Learning Program.
The Business Elite Learning Program from the College of Business at SUFE is a non-profit educational service launched by COB that consists of diversified forms, such as, themed lectures and round-table forums, aimed to provide a face-to-face communication platform for white collars who are seeking answers to career related problems, disseminating the concepts of business education, and boosting the self-value of individuals.
