The 4th international seminar on marketing management has been held

The 4th international seminar on marketing management of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics has been successfully held from June 1st to June 2nd, 2019 at room 206, college of business, Wudong campus . Since the first seminar was successfully held in 2009, this international seminaer has been devoted to inviting famous scholars to give keynote speeches and promoting international academic exchanges in the field of marketing management. This seminar has attracted nearly 100 scholars and doctoral students from universities and colleges all over the country.

Wei hang, deputy dean of college of business, delivers the first speech, he welcomes all the scholars and affirms the great significance of this seminar for strengthening the academic exchanges among scholars, and wishes the forum a success.

The seminar for one and a half days invited eight outstanding young scholars of marketing at home and abroad as a theme speaker. Professor ZhuRui of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business; Assistant Professor Peggy J. Liu of university of Pittsburgh ; Professor WanWen of Hong Kong University; Professor Yang Sha of university of southern California; Professor Li Shibo of Indiana university; Associate professor Zhu Yi of university of Minnesota; Assistant professor Hao Xinying of university of Arizona; Ji Li, a marketing doctoral student of 2014 from college of business, Shanghai university of finance and economics. They present papers on eight topics and share their latest research findings with the participating teachers and students.

At the end of the seminar, professor Chen Yuxin of New York University Shanghai has a face-to-face discussion with the keynote speakers and the students on the academic research methods, research topics, problems encountered in the process of publishing and reviewing articles and the countermeasures. The participants agree that attending the seminar is conducive to timely understanding and mastering the frontier dynamics of the discipline, expanding academic horizons and enhancing research capabilities。
