The Health Care Fund is set up to comprehensively enhance the health of teachers, students and alumni of the university, including but not limited to providing services and financial assistance to all teachers, students and alumni in cancer detection, treatment and rehabilitation.
Hong Yi, alumnus of class of 1989, Department of Industrial Economics, said that the initial aspiration of setting up the fund was based on the philosophy of "Being rich and healthy, rich and loving". He said due to his increased involvement in cancer diagnosis and treatment-related investments in recent years and the unfortunate news of alumni and friends suffering from cancer, a series of experiences impelled him to set up a health care fund to help his alumni and friends at the 100th anniversary celebration as a gift of love for the centennial celebration of SUFE. SUFE has cultivated many outstanding financial professionals. He hoped that SUFE alumni would not only be at the forefront of graduation pay scales, but also a group of people who were "rich and healthy, rich and loving", and that the fund would bring health and good luck to more SUFE people who shouldered great responsibilities in social advancement.
