On November 11, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) 2017 MBA Commencement & Degree Awarding ceremony was held in North Zhongshan No. 1 Road Campus. Prof. Chen Xinyuan, Vice President of SUFE and Dean of College of Business, Prof. Xu Longbing, Executive Vice President of Graduate School of SUFE, and Prof. Men Feng, Prof. Song Keqin, Prof. Yu Yan, Prof. Zhong Hongjun and Prof. Zhu Xiaoneng, MBA mentor representatives, as well as all graduates and their families attended the ceremony together. Xue Liping, Deputy Dean of College of Business, SUFE served as the host.

Before the formal commencement of the graduation ceremony, Wu Yunzhen, Director of the MBA Center, College of Business, first briefed everyone on the agenda and notes of the ceremony. Subsequently, the ceremony officially kicked off in the solemn national anthem.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Vice President Chen Xinyuan delivered a speech first. Based on the inspiration of the principle of "Co-construction, co- governance and sharing" proposed in the 19th CPC National Congress, he appealed to the students to continue participating in the co-governance of alma mater and sharing the fruits of development after they left the campus.

Next, Prof. Yu as the mentor representative delivered a message to the students before their departure. "Right now we are in the era of national and international change. I hope that everyone can develop the habit of life-long learning, read many good books and uphold the mission of SUFE to serve the country and benefit the people."

The graduation ceremony also added a "Outstanding MBA Thesis Award" recognition session. Jiang Haiyan, Pan Jun, Yang Baorui and other 10 students, with their excellent essays and defense results among the best, were awarded "Outstanding MBA Thesis Award" after the review of the college.

Among them, the award-winning student Jun Pan delivered a speech as a graduate representative subsequently. At the same time, she also extended blessings to the college: "Sincerely hope that COB will be better and better!"

Subsequently, Prof. Xu Longbing, Executive Vice President of the Graduate School of SUFE, read out the 2017 graduate degree awarding decision and the list of graduates. Vice President Chen Xinyuan, Prof. Feng Men, Prof. Song Keqin, Prof. Yu Yan, Prof. Zhong Hongjun and Prof. Zhu Xiaoneng presented the degree to the graduates and took group photos.

At the end of the ceremony, Chen Yaqiong, 2017 graduate and Secretary General of MBA Union, announced another good news: "In return for our alma mater, in June this year, SUFE MBA students established 'SUFE 100th Anniversary MBA Project Development Fund' jointly with the alumni. The Fund has raised more than 220,000 yuan of funds, all of which has been donated to the alma mater.
