Recently, a 5-day Ministry of Finance Accounting Master Training Project Results Report Conference and National Accounting Academic Leader Academic Studies Phase VI 2017 Summer Training was held in Shanghai. The activities were led by College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and jointly organized by Accounting Society of China, Xiamen National Accounting Institute, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University and Teacher Development Center, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The theme of the training was "Case development and writing, academic exchanges and sharing". A number of well-known scholars at home and abroad were invited to give lectures, preaching mission, and site visits were made to famous universities and well-known enterprises to broaden the teaching and research horizon.

On August 12, Xue Liping, Vice Dean of College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Huang Jingjing, Assistant to the Dean of Xiamen National Accounting Institute, Tian Zhixin, Deputy Secretary-General of Accounting Society of China, Chen Shifen, Professor of Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada and professional teachers from more than 70 peer schools and institutions all over the country attended the "National Accounting Academic Leader" Academic Studies Phase VI 2017 Summer Training Activity Opening Ceremony. Wang Shaofei, Assistant to the Dean of College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Director of the Case-sharing Center, presided over the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Xue Liping gave a speech and hoped that more meaningful exploration could be conducted through the win-win cooperation of case teaching in the professional field of accounting this time.

Subsequently, Ms. Huang Jingjing made a brief introduction to the event. She pointed out that "I hope that through studies, the teachers present can summarize the industry development and changes with cases, and bring them to more students, so that the students can better adapt to the development of the industry".

Prof. Chen Shi Fen was invited to give a two-day training lecture at the case teaching and training activity. In the training course, he shared his own knowledge and experience in many dimensions.

After the case skills training, the training also invited Prof. Chen Xinyuan, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Dean of College of Business, Prof. Li Zengquan, Dean of College of Accounting, Prof. Liu Hao, Academic Studies Phase III, Prof. Lv Changjiang, Fudan University, Prof. Xia Lijun, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Prof. Lu Ming, Shanghai Jiaotong University and other famous scholars to teach and share their rich experiences in China's accounting research internationalization and localization on August 14-15, to better achieve the goal of the academic accounting leading talent program.

In the case teaching exchange conference, Wang Shaofei, a teacher of our College introduced his own research findings and contributions when he wrote the case "From OEM to Brand Creation: Evolution of YAT Electric" as well as a series of issues that may be involved.

Next, Prof. Prof. Chen Xinyuan, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Dean of College of Business, Prof. Liu Hao, Academic Studies Phase III, and Prof. Li Zengquan, Dean of College of Accounting, expressed their own opinions with the "Teaching management and personnel training of accounting Masters", "Teaching management and personnel training of accounting Masters" and "Embedded intermediary - from relationship to market" as the themes, respectively.

Finally, on August 16, led by Wang Shaofei, the participants made site visits to SAIC Group, Shanghai World Expo Bureau and Class.Hujiang.com, drawing a successful close for this training.
