Purpose of role：
As a Client Accountant at AKQA you are required to perform the monthly revenue recognition process,project invoicing, monitoring of 3rd party project costs and credit control to ensure that the MAS500 financial system and project forecast are accurate and up to date and in sync on a timely basis. This is an operational role requiring effective communication and time management. You will work closely with the Project Management and Client Service departments where strong bonds and working relationships will be essential.
Key responsibilities：
1、Perform monthly revenue recognition in line with SOX recognition criteria.
2、Successful and accurate administration of all sales invoices in line with billing schedules.
3、Perform credit control procedures to reduce the level of DSO on clients.
4、Monitor and reconcile Accrued and Deferred revenue to ensure timely sign off of SOW / arrival of Purchase Orders.
5、Monitor and reconcile estimated V actual 3rd Party costs per project, flagging over spending.
6、Meet weekly with CS teams to review DSO, accrued revenue and OOPs.
7、Ensure Project records in MAS500 reflect SOW’s and have client approval.
8、Maintain MAS500 project records through project closures and archiving.
9、To support the client service teams with Revenue Forecasting.
10、To respond quickly and efficiently to project related financial queries in MAS500.
11、Respond to Internal and External audit requests and be able to collate required information.
Skills and experience required：
1、Ability to work well under pressure, manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
2、Strong customer service ethos, a commitment to building relationships with key stakeholders.
3、Proven experience working in or with a Client Accounting function.
4、Experience using Microsoft Outlook.
5、Experience using Microsoft Excel.
6、Experience using Sage products, preferably MAS500.
7、Prior knowledge of project & resource management system would be beneficial.
