Position Overview

The Frontline Recruitment Manager leads the high-volume, daily operation of Shanghai Disney Resort Casting Center to assess, hire, and onboard over thousands of high-quality, hourly Cast Members on an annual basis. Before Shanghai Disney Resort opening, this role will lead the initiative to build and sustain the process and practices of volume recruitment for frontline cast members in order to support the grand opening.

The Manager who succeeds in this role will be a highly organized, analytically-gifted thought leader with exceptional team leadership capability; the role requires a solid understanding of Shanghai Disney Resort operations, processes, line of business dynamics and goals and the ability to develop and link Casting metrics to the same. This role will help lead the Casting Recruitment team to success through effective planning, process improvement, delivery of quality hires against business requirements, and ongoing excellent client and guest communication and satisfaction.

The Manager will have the ability to apply knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements and company policy in day-to-day decisions that not only ensure a positive candidate experience but also uphold our Shanghai Disney Resort service standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

Build and sustain volume recruitment strategy toward Shanghai Disney Resort grand opening

Lead the Frontline Recruiter Team, providing leadership, direction, coaching and development as appropriate

Build effective relationships with clients and partners, requiring strong proactive communication, the ability to manage disagreements appropriately, and a strong service orientation.

Oversee and provide daily leadership to all activities with the extended frontline organization

Manage the daily operations including planning of resources, managing the department budget, deploying staff, maintaining operational efficiency and delivering guest service.

Manage the overall administrative work for the department, including developing plans, developing and executing processes to accomplish the work effectively and efficiently, and managing the direct department administration related to leading a team.

Analyze department metrics to identify trends and take proactive action

Build effective relationships with clients and partners through strong proactive communication, appropriate management of disagreements, and a strong service orientation

Develop and maintain current understanding of LOB business drivers and dynamics that affect requirements for hiring

 

Required Qualifications

10+ years Management experience in Operation areas, Recruitment experience will be a plus

Bachelor degree or MBA in operation management or related majors

Efficient Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) and technical aptitude for other systems (e.g., SAP, Recruitment Systems, technology)

Strong Guest service skills and the proven ability to respond proactively to client needs

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence leaders and team members, and to drive and inspire results; proven experience leading and developing a team

Demonstrated strong sense of initiative and urgency, with the ability to follow up on outstanding matters efficiently

Ability to exemplify the values of the Disneyland Resort and share those values with our Guests

Ability to partner and interact with Cast Members at all levels within the Disneyland Resort

Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment -- ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

With the guidance of the creative lead, provides concept design support for models, sets, animation, show, ride and scenic elements through the use of various mediums including traditional art, illustration, architecture, drawings, paint, sketches, storyboards, 2D and 3D digital design and multimedia

Works in collaboration with other team members in developing ideas

Assigned to multiple projects

Assignments may include participation in brainstorming sessions for new attractions or entertainment venues

Assist to take work from concept to development in production through field installation


Required Qualifications

Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Photoshop, illustrator, PowerPoint

diploma or degree students

Ability to do Drawings, paint and sketches

Good communication skill and learning ability

Fluent spoken and written English

Knowledge of Keynote a plus

2 to 3 full time working days per week, but can be flexible


职位三:Intern—Themed Finishes Construction Management


Reporting Line: Themed Finishes Senior Construction Manager


Job Description

Shanghai Disney resort target to open at the end of 2015, the resort will initially be comprised of Shanghai Disneyland, a Magic Kingdom-Style Park that will blend classic Disney storytelling and entertainment tailored specifically for the people of China, two themed hotels, a large retail, dining and entertainment and entertainment venue, recreational facilities, a lake and associated parking and transportation hubs.

The interns will be assigned to different departments, including project management, construction management, permitting, hotels, environment affairs, contracts & procurement, estimating and scheduling. He/she is to support the department leader on overall issues within the resort.


Responsibilities

Develop design & construction documents under team Field Art Director’s direction (documentation, methodologies, reports, etc.)

Attend and facilitate internal/external meetings

Provide interpretation and translation support as required


Majors preferred

Architecture建筑学, Project Management项目管理,Interior Design室内设计, Design Management设计管理,Construction Project Management施工项目管理,Art Related Majors, Painting, etc.


Basic Qualifications

Good communication and interpersonal skill

Quick learning ability

Team work spirit

Good spoken and written in Chinese and English

CET 6 is minimum

Translation/ interpretation certificates are plus

Good scores in English examinations (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, GRE/ GMAT, etc.) are plus

Good software skills

Microsoft Windows and Office are minimum

Adobe Photoshop is a plus

Scholarship, award and prize are plus


Target Deliverable

General Themed Finishes documents such as documentation sheets, methodologies, procedures, manuals, handbooks, etc.

Documents on particular Themed Finishes subjects such as summaries, reports, presentations.

Meetings minutes,  site walk-through notes and off-site visit notes as required

All deliverables need be written in bilingual English and Chinese

Responsibilities

Responsible for interview arrangements including telephone interview, face to face interview and video conference interview

Responsible to take care candidates along the whole interview process e.g. meet & greet, bring candidate to the right venue for interview and send candidate off after interview etc.

Assist candidate for their travel arrangement if needed

Maintain system data around interview arrangement and finish of interview

Maintain recruitment reports as assignment

Administrative tasks assigned in Recruitment team

Additional support in HR projects and activities

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in (more of HR Focus).

Previous human resources, recruiting experience in multination company experience preferred.

Demonstrated computer proficiency within an English Version Windows environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good team player with high degree of confidentiality

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Fluent in both Putonghua and English
