Position 1: MBA Summer Intern– Digital Marketing (Shanghai)

Reporting to:  Product/ Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Shanghai

PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES:

Well understand the digital marketing planning and execution procedures, support digital manager ( or product marketing manager ) to deploy the online programs to:  

1、Increase brand awareness online

2、Enhance consumer engagement to the brand

3、Build strong possible brand iWOM

4、Be familiar with the brand online calendar and assist digital manager to execute the integrated online campaigns:

     ● To support new product launch via online programs on Video Sites, Female vertical sites, Portal sites, Search Engines, etc.

     ● Develop effective ideas to drive online traffic to offline counters or e-Commerce site thus to maximize sales.

5、Optimize SNS strategy to improve brand iWOM online:

     ● Support marketing calendar to promote new product launch.

     ● Amplify brand principle, knowledge and engage consumers on SNS, especially own media like Weibo and WeChat.

     ● Work closely with ePR agency to manage and enlarge the active KOL pool.

6、Independently handle official Wechat account:

     ● To regularly update the brand messages and designs on the official WeChat to enhance consumers’ engagement with the brand.

     ● Closely work with CRM team to increase the number of WeChat fans and provide high quality service to them.

7、Work together with Ecommerce team and Sephora team to:

     ● Make sure their calendars largely in line with the marketing calendar.  

     ● Provide brand digital assets on time to Tmall and Sephora to ensure consistent activity design and brand image.

8、Effectively manage key agencies and media partners to build strong partnership and ensure good communication:

     ● Participate in regular meetings with key agencies and media partners to ensure smooth communication.

     ● Follow up with campaign executions and provide ontime feedback to agencies to ensure the final deliveries.

     ● Provide clear directions to agencies for improvement.

9、Develop deep understanding to key competitor online strategy and programs:

     ● Work with key agencies to track the key competitors’ online programs and media investment on a regular base.

10、Support digital manager to manage the online media and production budget, and optimize online media investment effectively through clear tracking and summary.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1、University graduate with Marketing, Advertising or Media related education background, with certain knowledge in digital marketing, database marketing and e-Commerce

2、Excellent analytical skills, good time management, and attention to details

3、Excellent computer skills

4、Good sense of responsibilities and dedications

5、Mature communication skills

6、Good people management skills

7、Fluent in English and Chinese

 

 

Position 2: MBA Summer Intern– Product Marketing (Shanghai)

Reporting to:  Product Marketing Manager

Location: Shanghai

PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES

2 months intern ship program to experience and learn Origins product marketing by assisting product manager to plan and deliver successful marketing campaign based on thorough analysis of market, competition and consumer trends/ insight as well as the desired business objectives of the company.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

A、Assist marketing communication development

1、Attend regular planning, forecasting and distribution meetings.

2、Work effectively with both creative and media agency to make sure high quality launch campaigns.

3、Develop and brief Creative Services for all collateral, promotional and Special event materials including posters, direct mail, national and cop-op advertising.

4、Assist Field with marketing enquires concerning product allocation, shipping of product and collateral.

5、Order and distribute advertising materials.  

B. Ensure Business Processes

1、Prepare analytical data relevant to each category performance, individual product history for Brand review and as required by Product Manager.

2、Maintain competition watch.  Produce reports in regard to competitor analysis and updates.

3、Participate in formulation of marketing calendar with Product Manager in planning of marketing objectives, strategies, advertising, promotional and special events programs and ensure effective execution.  Maintain marketing calendar; make changes, updates when required, and communicate with marketing team.

4、Work closely with creative agency to develop national ad, including layout, copy, FA till to material delivery to media. Organize product, packaging for photography samples.  Check all material for correct details regarding copy, product names, sizes, price, etc.

5、Prepare forecasts for use in planning and inventory control. Work closely with FIM to follow new products logistic (including HP, BSE, custom clearance and DC labelling), communicate with sales administrator for sell-in.

6、Prepare analytical data relevant to each category performance, individual product history for Brand review and as required by the product marketing manager.

7、Develop marketing bulletins relevant to each category for timely distribution to field teams.

8、Work actively with other marketing functions including CRM, training, online etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1、Fluent English and Mandarin a must

2、MBA candidate, major in marketing and/or communication preferred

3、2-3 years or above experience in Brand marketing and brand management, cosmetics experience and luxury brands marketing experience preferred.

Position 3: MBA Summer Intern– Consumer Insights (Shanghai)

Reporting to:  Consumer and Market Insights Director

Location: Shanghai

PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES:

1、Support Consumer and Market Insight Director on research projects

2、Be able to collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality work

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1、Insights synthesize for Estee Lauder based on past Estee Lauder & Corporate research projects (U&A, campaign tracking, brand audit, media, beaute research), navigating brand positioning, communication & effective media investment opportunities in China.

2、E-commerce insights project or shopper study research projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1、Education: 1st year MBA student

2、Work Experience:

     ● minimum 5 year working experience before joining the MBA program, market research and insight background, industry analytics are preferred

3、Skills:

     ● Strong analytical mind, willing to dig out and hands on

     ● Curious, innovative and could think out of box

     ● Excellent written English

     ● Good PPT skills

4、Personality: a good team player, self confident
