On July 16, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics College of Business EMBA 2016 Summer Session Commencement v. Graduation Ceremony was successfully held. The ceremony took "Encounter" as the theme. Prof. Chen Xinyuan, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, delivered a speech. Mr. Li Jingsong, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, Mr. Luo Yuding, Executive Dean of the College of Business, Ms. Liu Liming, Director of EMBA Center and some EMBA teachers and thesis supervisors attended the event.

School Leaders Speech

Prof. Chen Xinyuan, Vice President of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, delivered his speech first. In the speech, he focused on the sharing of three key words - "Responsibility", "Movement" and "Sentiment". He pointed out that in the era of "Mass innovation and entrepreneurship", innovation and entrepreneurship is one of the most important responsibilities of the times. Many EMBA alumni are taking on this responsibility and making their contribution to the economic and social development of China. He hoped that the students could always keep their mind in movement in the process of physical exercise, keep the knowledge in movement in the form of book movement, and explore the movement of business model in the hectic corporate movement.

Teachers' Representative Speech

Prof. Luo Yuding, Executive Dean of the College of Business, delivered a speech as the teachers' representative. He said that, graduation was the end of the "EMBA" life, but also the beginning of the "Post-EMBA" life, and the graduates were encouraged to actively join the outside-classroom of the College of Business, alumni association and club, etc.; the new students could seize the precious EMBA learning time to avoid "Middle age crisis".
