On October 12, 2014, EMBA "Finance Afternoon Tea" was held. Professor Bo Chen, Secretary-General of SUFE Free Trade Zone Institute, made a theme speech on “Shanghai Free Trade Zone: to build an upgraded version of reform and opening up”. This is Professor Chen’s second visit to EMBA "Finance Afternoon Tea".

Professor Chen elaborated the major achievements of Shanghai Free Trade Zone over the past year, regarding the “small strides” strategy (advancing slowly but steadily) taken by Shanghai Free Trade Zone as appropriate. He also highlighted that large data was more reliable than any third-party assessment to evaluate reform effectiveness. He also gave scores and made a comprehensive analysis for the achievements made by Shanghai Free Trade Zone in the first year.
