On August 30th, the 2014 MBA Opening Ceremony was held successfully in the auditorium in the North Zhongshan No.1 Road campus. Wearing the COB T-shirts, nearly 500 MBA freshmen attended the event. Prof. Liming Fan, President of SUFE, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Prof. Guoqiang Dai, Associate Dean of COB, hosted the ceremony. Mr. Zhikang Dai, Chairman of Zhengda Group, Prof. Yuding Luo, Acting Associate Dean of COB, and Ms. Liping Xue, Associate Dean of COB were also present at the ceremony.

The orientation activity, which took the theme of “inspiring dreams and guiding the future” and had the mission of training business elites, doing research in business, guiding entrepreneurs, developing and transmitting business civilization, was also held. The orientation was designed, when the new MBA curriculum was just released, to offer better and more comprehensive education to MBA students. The orientation was composed of four parts, which are preparation, cultural inheritance, career development and team building, and lasted for two and a half months. By participating in the orientation, the MBA freshmen understood SUFE systematically and became a member of the big family of SUFE.
