The three-day Juvenile Leaders Summer Camp organized by SUFE’s EMBA program started on August 1st, 2014. 25 families from various parts of China gathered in SUFE’s 369 Campus to start their journey of discovery, growth and happiness. On the first day, these participating juveniles, also called “second-generation of financial professionals” in the camp, of whom parents are serving in the financial sector, watched the movie When Happiness Knocks at the Door with their parents to learn the meaning of happiness and growth. At the evening party, these gifted little participants born after the 2000s gave excellent performances, including poetry recitation, singing with guitar playing, comedy sketches in local dialects, modern dances, English song sings and calligraphy writings, by which they showed their rich inner world and talents.
On August 2nd, the second day, these juvenile leaders paid a visit to SUFE’s Guoding road campus, which is full of culture and history. They learned SUFE’s history in the University History Show-room, visited SUFE’s library and attended the lecture named “Memory of Growth: Walking into Children’s Heart” given by Ms. Wenjun Qin, who is a famous children’s book writer. Finally, these juvenile leaders also participated in the activities called “Practice of Financial Quotients”.
