College of Business became GMAT-Using School

Nowadays, approved by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), College of Business (COB) Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) became GMAT-Using School.
       
GMAC is a not-for-profit organization which is a highly valid and reliable predictor of academic performance in the core subject matter of graduate business programs. As the owner of the GMAT Exam, it is managed by 200 leading business school members (include 23 business schools from The Asia Pacific and India).
       
GMAT was established in 1954, which is regarded as the Gold Standard for Assessment in Graduate Management Admission. GMAT Exam is the most widely used assessment for Graduate Management admissions, used by more than 5,000 programs at nearly 2000 business schools worldwide. GMAT test‐taker can use Graduate Management Admission Search Service ( GMASS), which has approximately 400000 members. So that business schools can recruit precisely by marketing to prospective students (and GMAT test takers) who have opted in to be contacted by schools.
      
The number of GMAT test takers in Asia increases year by year. According to statistics, the number of GMAT test taken by Chinese Citizens increases from 10142 to 30264 between 2006 and 2010.
 
In recent years, business education has huge market because of the rapid development of Chinese economics. As the first commerce school in China’s education history, COB is located in Shanghai which is the economy and financial center of China. In addition, COB has become GMAT-Using School, which is indicated that COB has ability to provide high quality business education to global students.
