College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics held a cooperation exchange meeting with Tmall DIGITAL Ecology Laboratory in the 526 conference room of the College of Business. Wei Hang, COB Associate Executive Dean chaired the meeting. . Professors, and the heads of various departments, and members of the Taobao Tmall Business Strategy Department participated in the meeting to take part in insightful discussions and exchange ideas on case co-creation and digital talent cultivation.
COB Associate Executive Dean Wei Hang first expressed the intention of cooperation. He stated that the key objective of cooperation is to establish "standard" with the guidelines of the development of digital economy, starting from practical needs to application process. He hopes that both stakeholders can initiate long-term cooperation in three dimensions: enterprise methodology standard, digital economic business standard, and certification standard for digital economy talents to achieve mutual benefits.
The Tmall DIGITAL Ecological Laboratory extremely values its strategic partnership with the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The strengths of the College of Business in finance and data technology are favorably compatible with the digital development required for Tmall. The laboratory hopes to explore cooperation areas together establishing a normalized communication mechanism between the school and enterprise. The mechanism strengthens the DIGITAL ecological construction to promote digital economic transformation, and look forward to gradually deepening academic cooperation. It can cover talent cultivation, and business certification with the College of Business for building practical bases and case sharing as the starting point of cooperation.
COB Associate Executive DeanWei Hang discussed that the collaboration between the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the Tmall DIGITAL Ecology Lab should not only meet the strategic requirements of national digital economy framework, but also meet the demand for multi-talents with technology, management, and lofty environmental adaptability of Shanghai as an East Asian financial center.
Professor Wu Fang and Associate ProfessorTian Ding from the Department of Marketing, and Assistant Professor Zheng Lei from the Department of Strategy and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as the Executive Director of the MBA Center, Xu Songwei, the Executive Director of the MIB Center, Wu Yunzhen, and the Undergraduate Academic Secretary of the College of Business, SuHaihong from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, attended the exchange meeting together. They delivered the detailed introductions on academic research and student education system at the College of Business.
Finally, the College of Business presented the "Business Review by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics" to share the insights of the century-long education and practical experience of the College of Business. It is expected that the cooperation between the College of Business and Tmall in the future can carry out scientific research and application-oriented digitalfor multi-genius talent cultivation combined with the industry.
