On September 27, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the results of the 2020 National Social Science Fund's annual project and the youth project. Three Projects Were Granted to COB by the National Natural Social Science Foundation of China in 2020.Among which there are 2 major projects:‘Research on the Path and Countermeasures of China's Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading under the New Circumstance of Global Trade’ and ‘Research on Social Entrepreneurship Behavior and Process Management Driven by Digital Technology’ , and 1 general project ‘Research on the Institutional Mechanism of the Breakthrough and Realization Path of China's Core Technology Independent Innovation’.
College of Business actively carry out international high-level research with "Chinese issues, international paradigms ", focusing on major national strategic demands and international academic frontiers, and further enhancing its academic innovation ability. COB has undertaken a number of important research projects and accumulated a number of scientific research achievements with great influence. In the past five years, it has undertaken 36 national projects (1 major project ,3 key projects) and 50 provincial projects (including Shanghai projects). The quantity and quality of subject application at all levels of the college have been steadily improved, which provides a solid scientific research foundation for promoting disciplinary construction, and also provides a strong support for the college to build a first-class business school.
Xie Jia Ping
Professor and doctoral supervisor of Operations Management Department of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He is also the vice chairman of the sustainable operation and management system branch of the China Society of Systemetical Engineering, director of the Shanghai Society of Systemetical Engineering, member of the CST of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Jiusan Society, and vice director of the Committee of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics of the Jiusan Society. He is the laureate of Shanghai Education Commission Educational Talent Award, Baosteel Education Fund Outstanding Teachers Award and Supply Chain Management Shanghai Excellent Teaching Materials Award. Long-term commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship and sustainable development related areas, presided over the completion of the National Social Science Foundation of a major project, a key project; presided over the completion of the National Natural Science Foundation of 3 projects. Academic papers on innovative entrepreneurship, business models, circular economy, green operations, service management, reverse logistics, agricultural efficiency, new energy investment decision-making and other green operations and sustainable development themes, explore innovative upgrading approaches, green development system system, innovation platform network model, published a series of qualitative research and empirical research results; At the same time, more committed to optimize decision-making related areas, involving supply chain management, contract optimization, production optimal decision-making, mainly from the perspective of micro-organization modeling optimization analysis and strategy research, explore energy conservation and emission reduction, green energy, recycling, supply chain finance and other optimization decisions, published a series of quantitative research results.
Liu Zhiyang
Professor and doctoral supervisor of Enterprise Management Department of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Associate Dean of College of Business, Associate Executive Dean of College of Entrepreneurship, Director of China Social Entrepreneurship Research Center. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education of the Ministry of Education, vice president of the Technical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Branch of the China Institute of Technology and Economics, secretary-general of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch of the China Institute of higher Education, secretary-general of the National Alliance for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education of Financial and Economic Colleges, and vice-president of the Shanghai Institute of behavior Sciences. The main research areas are social entrepreneurship, innovative entrepreneurial management, emerging industry development and venture capital.
Yu Dianfan
Associate Professor of the Industrial Organization Department of College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Associate Dean of College of Business and Vice-President of the China Industrial Development Research Institute of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. A number of papers related to industrial transformation and upgrading have been published in the fields of SSCI , Economic Research, Managing the World, China's Industrial Economy, Financial Research, Economic Management, Academic Monthly, Liberation Daily, China Social Sciences Journal, etc. In addition, he has actively participated in the research on the development strategy of Shanghai's local economy, presided over and participated in a number of decision-making consulting topics on Shanghai's economic transformation and industrial development, and the relevant achievements were affirmed by the government departments and repeatedly won the award.

In this year, the National Social Science Fund's annual projects and youth projects continue to adopt the method of moderate quota declaration. Final acceptance of 32,103 valid declarations; 3286 key projects were declared. 21891 general projects,6926 youth projects. The total number of projects this year is the same as last year. 363 are priority projects,3184 general items; 1078 youth projects; the average intensity of the subsidy is ¥200,000.
