The second China Social Entrepreneurship Research Forum, jointly sponsored by the College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the Journal of Economic Management and hosted by the China Social Entrepreneurship Research Center of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, was held in the entrepreneurship center of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics on November 30, 2019. The forum is co-organized by the technology innovation and entrepreneurship branch of the China Society of Technology and Economics and the Shanghai Society of Behavioral Sciences. Academic support is provided by journals such as Research and Development Management, Foreign Economy and Management, Comparison of Economic and Social Systems, Quarterly of Management, etc. More than 200 experts, scholars, insiders and media representatives from Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Xiamen University, Jilin University, Shandong University, East China Normal University, Central University for nationalities, Shanghai University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Bath University, London School of Economics and Political Science and other universities at home and abroad attended this forum. Professor Xia Bin, counsellor of the State Council and director of the Contemporary Economics Foundation, Li Haijian, associate director of the Institute of Industrial Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Li Haijian, associate editor of Economic Management, Professor Zhang Yuli, Nankai University, and Li Yong  associate editor of Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Professor of the University of Nevada, President of the technology innovation and Lei Jiayu, Entrepreneurship branch of China Society of Technology and Economics, Professor of Tsinghua University, attended the forum and delivered keynote speech. The forum lasted for two days. Professor Xu Fei, Executive Vice president of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Professor Wei Hang, Executive Associate Dean of College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics delivered speeches on behalf of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics respectively. The forum was hosted by Xue Liping, Chair of College of Business Council of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Professor Liu Zhiyang, Associate Dean of College of Business and Director of China Social Entrepreneurship Research Center.

In his speech, Xu Fei, executive vice president, stressed that social entrepreneurship, as a new form of entrepreneurship, can effectively deal with the contradiction between people's yearning for a better life and the imbalance and inadequacy in the new era. It has played an important role in promoting high-quality development, eliminating poverty and solving employment problems. In the future, we should strengthen social entrepreneurship education, technology empowerment and ecological construction Three dimensions promote the development of social entrepreneurship.

Professor Xia Bin, counsellor of the State Council and President of the Contemporary Economics Foundation, introduced the operation of the contemporary economics foundation, and looked forward to the asset management and other policy issues of the development of public welfare organizations.

Li Haijian, Associate Director of Institute of Industrial Economy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, congratulated the Forum on behalf of the magazine, and shared the topic of "new economy, new form and new effect", summarizing ten new forms and five economic effects under the new economy.

According to Professor Zhang Yuli of Nankai University, the marketization of social issues is the focus of future research. Platform enterprises are not only enterprises, but also the ecological carrier for building the coordination of government, society and market.

Ms. Lin Hui, Secretary General of Youcheng Entrepreneur Foundation for poverty alleviation, also made brilliant keynote speeches on the theme of "social entrepreneurship and influence investment".

44 experts and scholars from different fields shared their research and views in four sub Forums: "social entrepreneurship and influence investment", "innovation and entrepreneurship", "Rural Revitalization" and "social enterprise and social innovation". Professor He Xiaogang, Professor Dong Jing, are both Vice Dean of College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Mei Lianjun, Assistant to the President of the Journal of Economic Management, Professor Zhu Xiaohong, North China Electric Power University Professor Lin Nan, College of Business of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Yang Lin, Dean of the School of Business Administration of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, Li Jian, Executive Director of the Foundation Research Center of Minzu University of China, and Professor Ju Xiaofeng of the College of Management of Harbin Institute of Technology, Professor Ge Jianxin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School of the Central University of Finance and Economics, Professor Su Shipeng, Dean of the School of Management of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University, Professor Dai Weiqi, Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Professor Yun Jiang, Northeast University of Finance and Economics, Assistant Professor Zhang Chenjian, Bath University and Associate Professor he Xiaobin, Tsinghua University participated in the forum shared ideas and gave comments.
