November 16, 2019 -- Keynote speech and scholarship awarding ceremony hosted by Simone Cummings, Dean of the Walker School of business, University of Webster for 2018-2019 freshmen were successfully held in SUFE. Professor Richard Foristel, head of China, University of Webster, Mrs. Chen Xi, executive director of SUFE IMBA program and 60 IMBA students attended the event.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dean Simone Cummings delivered a brief introduction to the history, teaching facilities, discipline construction, academic achievements, talent cultivation, student scale and graduate quality of Walker School of business at Webster University. She pointed out that Webster School of business was certified by ACBSP (American Association of university business schools) and listed as the first private non-profit school and veterans "best university", she also pointed out that the Walker School of the University of Webster continues to make efforts in teaching methods, curriculum and international cooperation.
Dean Simone Cummings shared with the graduates' examples the achievements of the iMBA graduates during their study and their views on how to move towards career success, and encouraged all the students to continue to carry forward the spirit of hard work and achieve more outstanding achievements in their future career.
In the scholarship granting process, Professor Richard Foristel declared the list of award-winning students, congratulated the award-winning students, and looked forward to all students working hard to create a wonderful life in SUFE, cherishing a bright future with faith, and meeting new challenges with positive actions. Dean Simone Cummings and Professor Richard Foristel presented certificates to scholarship winners and take photos.
The representatives of the students who won the scholarship delivered their speeches later. They first expressed their sincere thanks to the school leaders, faculties, classmates and their families for the support in their study.
