A.Job title
AR Manager – Reporting to Finance Manager, Hertz RAC China
B.Job purpose
This position is to engage, manage and work to directly to improve the activities of the credit department for the organization. Determine what new accounts will be established for new customers by reviewing and researching credit payment history and obtain further information if necessary. Will evaluate, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations to determine credit line amounts and communicate this information to customers and other team members of the company. Will review and adjust credit lines on a regular basis or when requested for existing accounts and will revoke lines of credit upon receipt of external information pertinent to financial strength of account. Will be enforcing the company's credit policy. In this role, will be engaged in conducting credit investigations and collecting delinquent accounts and will communicate all credit related issues to senior management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Prepare monthly revenue recognition JE based on the billing summaries for all the branches
2.Create a credit risk management environment of an acceptable quality, in terms of established credit guidelines
3.Assist in developing sound, acceptable credit policies
4.Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare report on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution.
5.Interact with customers to obtain additional credit information to support credit lines
6.Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts
7.Initiate credits and adjustments to customer accounts within company policy limits
8.Check for credit viability on requests for extended terms, and evaluate various adjustments or exception documents
9.Submit requests to senior management and supporting documentation for accounts requiring credit lines
10.Research and make decisions on finance charges
11.Maintain bad debt and bad debt recovery records
12.Monitor receivables and collections and provide updates of receivables and provide appropriate reporting proceduces
13.Identify problem accounts and provide regular updates of receivables to management
14.Negotiate payment programs with delinquent customers
15.Identify accounts requiring collection agency or legal action and coordinate collections with third party contractors
16.Monitor violations of credit policies, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations, present findings to senior management and suggest actions/penalties to be taken when appropriate
17.Develop processes and procedures for evaluating customer financials and setting and changing credit lines/limits, as well as credit holds; implement liens as necessary to major delinquent account as approved
18.Generates legal documents used in the credit function
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Manages subordinate(s), a credit analyst. The credit manager is responsible for the development and creates an environment to help motivate the subordinate to optimize their performance and professional growth.
2.Prefer someone with lien experience, and a construction company background.
3.Qualification in a credit management function is a plus; Microsoft Office products and ERP system experience.
4.Understands purpose of legal documentation and terms and conditions of the sales and installations contracts of company's products.
5.Knowledge of financial statements and cash flow analysis, industry/market credit research, liens and bonds.
6.Has worked in the building trade or similar industry.
C.Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and five plus years related experience
2.Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Must have excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
3.Oracle or SAP experience will be preferred
4.Strong ability to work in a dynamic environment with aggressive business growth; willing to take pressure
5.Previous Collection environment/experience.
Position 2
A.Job title: Accounting Receivable(AR) Temp(3-6 months), Shanghai, China
B.Job purpose
This position will help AR team to consolidate the legacy AR database. Applicants should have hands on intern experience in AR functions.
The project may last 3-6 months depending on the project progress. Applicants who could make sure of 5 working days per week will definitely have the interview priority. Since it is an urgent case, the applicants are expected to start as soon as possible.
AR invoice summarizing in Excel(these invoices are manual invoices in Excel so need to set up the invoice master file in Excel spreadsheet to contain all the invoices);
Cash application in Excel based on bank statement and invoice master file;
Input the reconciled and o/s invoices into Oracle AR system;
Help on the collection of the o/s invoices.
C.Knowledge, skills and experience required
Educational Background:
Bachelor / Master degree with major in finance management and accounting.
