The summer intern role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree and is usually undertaken during the second or penultimate year of study.

While your discipline or major are not important, we are looking for students with an outstanding record of academic achievement and an interest in the insurance and healthcare industry.

Position title: Management Trainee (Summer Intern)

Position description:

As a Management Trainee Intern, you will gain valuable experiences within operations, sales, customer service and administration. You will be assigned projects related to customer experiences and various areas in insurance and health care business while also gathering understanding of other functions of the business. You will also gain exposure to project management and team coordination. This position requires collaboration and relationship building with colleagues and customers to achieve personal and team goals.

Position title: Informatic Analyst – Healthcare/Insurance (Summer Intern)

Position description:

As an Informatic Analyst Intern, you will be partner with the health care professionals in IHAT (international health advisory) team who drives the delivery of high quality, cost effective products and services. They make it possible for members to get the right health care treatment for their needs – and for Aetna to keep its competitive edge. The interns will be participating in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical technologies and provide user-friendly reports; Analyzing trends or patterns in complex data sets; locating and defining new process improvement opportunities.

Position description:

As a Marketing Intelligence intern, you will be working closely with senior management to support strategic planning activities by providing actionable recommendations based on assessments of markets and competitors, both existing and potential. Your responsibilities will be including identifying and collecting appropriate customer, competitor, market, economic, financial and/or operational data; translating data into executable and effective market and intelligence reports; Overseeing and profiling competitors and competitive products.
